Kimba’s tour of duty ended while at home in her kennel from unknown problems. She was in semiretirement at the time of her passing. Kimba’s handler was Ronnie Mathis. Kimba was a Gronendael which is a solid black Belgium Malinois. Kimba had over ten years of service with over 500 finds credited to her performance and hard work.

Sonja retired from her tour of duty on December 31, 2011, after serving eight years with the Sheriff’s Office. Sonja was a Belgium Malinois. Sonja passed away on October 24, 2012 after suffering from health issues. Sonja’s handler was Senior Deputy Josh Yopp.
