“Service Through the Community”

The central district is under the supervision of Lieutenant Kim Hooper.  The central district line covers all of Cullowhee, Tuckasegee, Little Canada, Sylva City limits, and most of the town of Dillsboro.  Dividing lines in the Dillsboro area are the intersection of Highway 441 and Haywood Road. The intersection of Highway 441 and NC116. It includes all of Cope Creek and continues through Sylva into Tuckasegee and meets the Southern District at the Duke Power House adjacent to NC107.  The Central District also meets the Southern District on Cullowhee Mountain Road at the base of Cullowhee Mountain.
